This is an exciting opportunity for an organized, motivated, and highly engaged candidate looking to expand their experience in HR/Recruiting in a fast paced start up company. The Recruiting Assistant will work closely with the Recruiter Specialist to coordinate and provide operational support for all of our recruitment processes. This individual will strive to deliver a memorable experience to the hiring managers and candidates involved in CrossnoKaye recruitment process.

Job Responsibilities:

● Partner with the Recruiter and other members of the Internal Operations team on recruitment efforts

● Review and edit job descriptions and scorecards for recruitment

● Assist with sourcing candidates and organizing ideal profiles via LinkedIn

● System administration and management of our Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse)

● Assist with planning for onsite interviews including gifts, excursions, and food reservations

● Processing background checks and other candidate verifications

● Pre-screening resumes and new candidate applications

● Prepare and organize recruitment materials

● Support the Recruitment team with continuous process improvement and initiatives as assigned

● Help the recruiter to develop and deliver recruiting reports through the applicant tracking

system, tracking recruiting metrics, sources, and results

● Support other recruiting-related administrative tasks and special projects as necessary

● Assist with digital presence and innovative ways to help promote the organization's reputation

and build the brand

Qualifications

● 2+ years of experience in an office environment, ideally in an HR or recruiting environment

● Previous ATS experience preferred, not required

● Prior experience working in a start-up organization preferred, not required

● Strong customer service orientation with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations

● Ability to interface with all levels of the organization

● Flexible, able to change direction quickly

● Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and in dealing with ambiguity

● Ability to work and collaborate with a team

● Strong diversity and inclusion acumen and commitment

● Ability to maintain confidentiality

● Solid sense of accountability and acute personal judgment

● Ability to handle confidential information and escalate issues when appropriate

● Team player, solid work ethic, willing to pitch in where needed

● Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

● Strong attention to detail

Location:

The person will work out of our headquarters located in downtown Santa Barbara, CA.
