KWK Trucking (Contractor for DHL) is seeking a Courier to assist us in the Santa Barbara, Goleta, Carpinteria, Ojai, and Santa Paula areas. This is a FULL TIME POSITION with all training provided. If you're ready to get out on your own and get moving we want to hear from you. So much more than just delivering packages; in this role, you will demonstrate your customer service skills, time management, and professionalism. Applicants MUST be physically fit with the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Applicants must bring a copy of a CLEAN DMV printout for the interview. As a Courier, you will drive a van to deliver or pick up packages Monday through Friday (NO WEEKENDS). You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service as well as following all applicable laws and safety regulations. Benefits include health insurance, (6) - paid holidays per year, (5) - paid sick days per year, (1) - week paid vacation after one year, and (2) - weeks paid vacation after three years.

COURIER RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Inspecting and maintaining vehicle supplies and equipment to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition
Reporting any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles
Loading and unloading trucks or vans
Maintaining records, such as vehicle logs and cargo manifests.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Success in this position will be determined by your flexibility, organization, and ability to multi-task. We are looking for friendly customer-focused Couriers who will promote teamwork and customer satisfaction.
COURIER REQUIREMENTS:
23 years of age or older
Valid driver's license and CLEAN driving record
Safety-conscious
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to pass a criminal background check and SUCCESSFULLY PASS A DRUG SCREENING
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, step in and out of vehicles, walk at a brisk pace, squat, kneel, and/or crouch for short periods of time
Starting pay is $15.00 per hour
