Birnam Wood Golf Club is seeking candidates for our Facilities Engineer/Maintenance Department to maintain Golf Clubhouse equipment and building facilities.
Positions are FULL TIME with starting pay at $20 per hour.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:
- 1-3 years of facilities/apartment repair experience preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Shifts are usually between 8AM – 4:30PM Monday – Friday BUT MUST BE ABLE to WORK early mornings, late evenings, weekends, on employer observed holidays (6 per year) and overtime /other shifts 7 days a week as requested by Management.
- Post Job Offer Criminal / Sex Offender Registry Background Check results must pass Club Standards.
EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS
Valid Driver’s License with clean record
Authorized to Work in United States
JOB DUTIES
1. Maintains and makes general repairs to the plumbing fixtures, furniture, woodwork, electrical system, appliances, ventilation system and building structure of the club
2. Conducts plumbing repairs such as leaking pipes and faucets and clogged drains
3. Performs various duties involving painting, plumbing, carpentry and electrical work
4. Maintains the air conditioning, refrigerators, ice makers and pool pumps
5. Supervises the filtration and chlorination of swimming pool. Tests swimming pool water; maintains daily log of water test results for local health department inspections
PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS/ ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS:
Physical Ability: Tasks require the regular and, at times, sustained performance of moderately physically demanding work, typically involving some combination of climbing and balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, and that may involve the lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of moderately heavy objects and materials (25 pounds).
Sensory Requirements: Some tasks require the ability to perceive and discriminate visual cues or signals. Some tasks require the ability to communicate orally.
Environmental Factors: Performance of essential functions may require exposure to adverse environmental conditions, such as dirt, dust, pollen, odors, wetness, humidity, rain, fumes, temperature extremes, bright/dim light, machinery, electric currents, traffic hazards, toxic agents or pathogenic substances.
