BENEFITS ELIGIBLE! COMPETITIVE PAY!IMMEDIATE HIRE!MARIPOSA AT ELLWOOD SHORES ASSISTED LIVING IS LOOKING FOR A FULL TIME MAINTENANCE DIRECTOR!The Maintenance Director is responsible for ensuring the overall physical plant of the community and grounds are in working order. This is a ""hands-on"" working position. All Maintenance Directors are to ensure a safe environment for both residents and team members.ÂIn order to be considered for a position with our premier community we seek a candidate that possesses the following: Must be at least 18 years of age. Have current criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community. Able to communicate written and orally in English. Passed post offer health physical, TB test and drug screen. Within 30 days of hire be certified in CPR and First Aid Two years experience in maintenance related activities. High School diploma or equivalent. Effective written and oral communication skills Knowledge of state regulations, health laws and OSHA regulations. Basic knowledge of State Health and Safety Codes. Must have working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire suppression, fire irrigation and emergency call systems. Strong organizational skills including ability to follow-up, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task. Able to complete basic maintenance services such as painting, simple plumbing, carpet removal, and equipment repair. Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs, carry up to 40 lbs, push/pull up to 50 lbs, constant standing, walking and reaching required.
