Statement of Purpose
The Marketing and Development Assistant is responsible for assisting in all duties related to marketing, fundraising activity, outreach, and general support for the Executive Director.
Major Responsibilities
Assist with all promotional print and online materials
Maintain media calendar
Create and manage email and direct mail campaigns
Maintain data base
Coordinate fundraising activities and special events
Solicit in-kind donations and auction items for annual fundraising event
Create and manage volunteer base
Manage the organizations social media profiles
Provide assistance to the Admissions and Outreach manager
Support Executive Director in the planning and achieving of all organizational goals
Assist Executive Director with donor relations
Administrative tasks as assigned by the Executive Director
Prerequisite Qualifications
Following are the qualifications required to perform the essential functions of this position.
Strong written and oral communications skills
Ability to understand complex business strategies
Ability to manage multiple priorities; exhibit good business judgment
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong computer skills
