Company in Goleta is looking for a Marketing Specialist to be responsible for creating product presentations and implementation of all website promotions and experiences. $15.00-$18.00/hour
Essential Functions:
The Marketing Specialist will work closely with the Merchandising, Marketing and Creative team to develop and implement marketing and data-driven promotions and site landing page content.
Responsible for SKU set up within digital content management system.
Input all product details, descriptions, titles and attributes, and ensure SKUs are categorized accurately.
Implement scheduled and ad hoc promotions.
Ensure all digital touch points related to promotions and site experience are implemented on time and accurately.
Review analytics for page and promotion success.
Develop and implement marketing-driven landing page content: e.g. gift guides, holiday landing pages, promotional campaign landing pages and other product collections.
Work closely with Merchandising to ensure online assets are displayed properly across devices.
Continually monitor the website in a proactive manner to ensure that information is accurate, content is current, and pages are functioning properly.
Maintain thorough product knowledge on current and upcoming product assortment for ecommerce site.
Resolve day to day product page and account issues.
Responsible for optimizing site product recommendations and sorting to ensure best possible consumer experience.
Collaborate with analytics team to understand search and site data, and other important KPIs.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Marketing or similar
Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook
Strong interpersonal communication and written skills
Basic understanding of HTML code
Problem solving and research skills
Attention to detail
