Santa Barbara Infrared, Inc. (SBIR) is recruiting an experienced and motivated Electro-Optics Assembler for our manufacturing team.
Responsibilities - Electro-Optics Assembler
· Assembly and modification for prototype and custom electronic parts and opto-mechanical systems.
· Handling, mounting, protecting and cleaning of sensitive optics such as Off Axis Parabola mirrors
· Soldering components to printed circuit boards and fabricated metal items, as specified by work orders, diagrams or layout.
· Assembly of routes and ties wires to form wire harness (cable) used in electrical and electronic equipment or systems.
· Assembly of mechanical assemblies, which may include but are not limited to: fabricated metal items, electrical wires, circuit boards, mirrors, filters and windows.
Requirements - Electro-Optics Assembler
· Two to five years of assembly experience.
· The ability to work full time.
