Connectpoint, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Technician. Connectpoint is the leading supplier of solar powered digital signage to the U.S. transportation industry.
The Manufacturing Technician is an adaptive and versatile member of the Production team and is responsible for product assembly, testing, quality control and throughput. This position requires a combination of electrical, mechanical and computer skillsets.
Responsibilities
1. Assembly
a. Prepare and build product subassemblies or final assemblies including solar power systems, LED lights, digital displays, accessories.
b. Package and ship finished products per company specifications. This includes occasional crate building.
c. Machine and modify parts as needed using various hand tools and drill press.
d. Solder and test AC and DC wiring connections and power supplies.
2. Quality Control
a. Assist with electrical and mechanical performance testing of products prior to shipment as assigned.
b. Assist with building and testing prototypes and new product applications.
c. Test voltage of incoming and outgoing batteries.
3. Organization
a. Prioritize to meet deadlines per the companys Production Schedule.
b. Assist management with maintaining inventory of job materials.
c. Attend production meetings and contribute to collaborative problem solving.
d. Unpackage and stock new inventory.
4. Maintenance
a. Set up and operate production equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.
b. Clean production equipment and maintain an organized manufacturing work space.

Qualifications
ï¼ Hands on experience in Manufacturing setting, or ability to demonstrate necessary skillset
ï¼ Hands on experience with electrical wiring and soldering
ï¼ Experience with hand tools and drill press
