Summary:
Atomica is looking for talented technicians to fabricate micro machines (MEMS) in our semiconductor type wafer fab in Santa Barbara, CA. You will process wafers through the entire manufacturing line including photolithography, vacuum, electroplating, bonding and wet chemistry equipment, focusing on production programs. You will work closely with engineers and participate in yield improvement activities. Atomica provides a youthful, interesting and exciting environment with educational and advancement opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Production Output: Candidate will operate equipment in such areas as photolithography, vacuum, electroplating, bonding and wet chemistry.
- Production Profitability: Work with engineering team to improve processes, reduce processing costs, and improve yield.
- Customer Satisfaction: Candidate will be responsible for monitoring the quality of their work and working with the team to constantly improve the quality of the product.
Requirements:
- Education: Minimum of a H.S. education and 2 years’ experience in manufacturing environment preferably semiconductor. A.S. degree would enable significant career growth.
- Technical Skills/Experience: Experienced in running equipment in a manufacturing environment. Ability to consistently follow instructions. Basic computer skills including Microsoft office.
- Professional Skills: Good communications skills. Ability to work in a cleanroom.
Shifts:
We are hiring on 2nd shift and 4th shift.
- 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 4:30pm to 3am
- 4th Shift: Friday - Sunday, 6:30pm to 7am
