People Creating Success, Inc. (PCS) is a leading provider of Supported Living Services, Independent Living Services, and Day Services for adults with developmental disabilities. PCS began in 2002 with Supported Living Services, guided by the mission to help individuals with disabilities move from restrictive living environments into more inclusive living arrangements. Led by the principles of "The PCS Way" for the development of ethics, leadership, and personal growth, PCS grew quickly, broadening both its geographic area and its scope of services. Today, PCS operates in six California regions where it helps to promote independence, support personal growth, and improve quality of life for over 200 individuals.

Our agency is currently hiring direct support professionals to provide support to adults with developmental disabilities in the activities of daily living. Duties include assistance with grocery shopping, meal preparation, laundry, light cleaning, medication administration, community outings such as attending events in town, going to the beach or park and Special Olympics practices.

We are hiring for multiple shifts with different individuals. Weekend availability is a plus! Shifts include Monday- Thurs 10pm-8am, Saturday and Sunday 7a-3p, and 3p-11p, and Monday through Friday 3p-11p plus other flexible shift times.

This position is excellent for individuals with experience in caregiving, participants in the Personal Care Attendant or Nursing programs, students with an interest in social work or psychology and retirees looking for companionship and meaningful work.

We provide comprehensive training in all aspects of the position, and there are opportunities for advancement including lead staff and management.

All prospective applicants must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening, a Livescan background check and be CPR/First Aid/AED certified (we can provide your certification if you are not currently certified). Driving is not a requirement of this position but reliable transportation (ie MTD bus) to scheduled shifts is expected. New hire training including specific onboarding of the individual you will be working with is also provided.

Our agency has both full time and part time positions available, and provides medical and dental benefits, paid time off and sick leave. Gas mileage reimbursement for certain work related travel is also included.
