WHAT WOULD I BE DOING AT THIS JOB?
We are looking for a full-time (40 hours/week) LCSW to join our Behavioral Wellness team. This position would be exempt.
Our LCSWs perform clinical social work including behavioral health services and case management services. These services include conducting bio-psychosocial assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, clinical intervention and discharge planning in a high-intensity environment. This position requires a broad knowledge of clinical social work theory and practice, including knowledge of substance abuse assessment and treatment, and knowledge of community resources to best serve the diverse needs of the population served.
WHAT KIND OF EDUCATION DO I NEED?
1. Master's Degree in Social Work.
2. Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of California
WHAT TYPE OF SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE DO I NEED?
1. Minimum of two years of experience providing direct clinical social work services to individuals, families and groups.
2. Advanced knowledge of clinical social work / psychotherapy / counseling theory and practice; knowledge of evidenced based practice and trauma-based approaches to behavioral health.
3. Awareness of the cultural and spiritual needs of the American Indian/Alaska Native population.
4. Ability to read, speak and write English and Spanish fluently.
