Physical Therapy Office: Front Office Medical Receptionist
Job Summary:
Our thriving Physical Therapy office is seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist who understands the value of compassionate patient care and services. We are looking for a professional who can take over administrative duties that involve strong communication with the patients to coordinate patient and PT schedules, insurance verification, and can efficiently manage the patient paperwork in-take and registration process.
Core Duties:
Manages front desk through excellent customer service with the ability to multitask, by answering incoming phone calls and greeting patients.
-Facilitates patient scheduling, intake, check in processes, including working in two simultaneous practice management systems; entering and monitoring patient data.
-Responsible for completing benefit verifications timely and accurately-Collect and process payments from patients for co-pays and cash visits
-Provide patients and Physical Therapists with support and guidance as needed
-Maintain patient, employee and company privacy

Minimum Education Required:
-High School diploma and
-1 or more years in an administrative position
Preferred Min Experience:
-Previous health care office experience
-Knowledge of benefit verification and authorization

-Bilingual language skills a plus
