The Oak Cottage of Santa Barbara is a Senior Living community dedicated to providing quality lifestyles for our residents who are looking for senior assisted living services. We currently seek a highly motivated part-time weekend Concierge to handle the clerical functions. We are located in Santa Barbara.
This is a part time weekend position, hours are 8:30am - 5pm.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Greeting visitors, answer telephones
- Handle incoming/outgoing mail and faxes
- Maintain reception area in a neat and orderly fashion
- Other clerical and administrative duties as necessary
The right candidate will possess:
- 1 or more years of experience in related position (preferably industry related)
- Outstanding customer service skills, with a flexible, positive personality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A flexible, energetic people person, capable of managing diverse personalities

The Oak Cottage of Santa Barbara is searching for an out-going, customer-service focused part-time weekend receptionist, hours are from 8:30am - 5pm. Our receptionist is responsible for answering all incoming telephone lines, greeting guests and visitors, handling the communitys business mail, assisting with business office functions as needed, and serving in a concierge role for our residents and their families. We are an assisted-living and dementia-care community for seniors. Ideal candidates will be professional and have previous customer service experience preferably in a receptionist or concierge role.
