Gardner Management, Ltd. has an immediate opening for an experienced Assistant Community Manager for a 125-unit apartment complex located in Goleta. We are looking for someone with a strong sales and customer service background to assist in all aspects of leasing, property management and maintaining a large multi-family community.

This position is a full-time position that includes working Saturdays as needed.

Primary duties include property and people management, leasing, sales and marketing, customer and resident relations, vendor management, coordinating apartment maintenance and unit turnovers, and accounts payable.

The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years of experience in Property Management preferably as a leasing consultant or assistant manager in a multi-family community of 100+ units.

We are looking for someone honest and dependable who can partner with the manager and manage multiple priorities and changing demands while meeting company deadlines.

You must be:

A good problem solver, very organized and detail oriented.

Have good administrative skill, a strong mathematical aptitude and knowledge of basic excel.

Have a professional business acumen and the ability to provide excellent customer service.

Have strong written and verbal communication skills.

Be well versed in Federal and State Fair Housing Laws, familiar with AppFolio, Yardi or other similar Property Management Systems.
