A technical establishment is seeking a full time Senior Linux Systems Administrator to join their team! This individual will maintain the company's server and application infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
â¢Participate in on-call pager rotation
â¢Carry out troubleshooting and error analysis of various server systems
â¢Ensure the uninterrupted operation of our essential 24/7 production systems
â¢Administer and monitor Linux/Unix standard services
â¢Carry out scripting and automation
â¢Serve as an escalation point as required
Qualifications:
â¢In-depth knowledge and several years of experience with 24/7 production systems in a Linux environment, preferably in larger infrastructures
â¢Several years of experience in server administration in Linux/Unix (CentOS and FreeBSD)
â¢Extensive knowledge of the administration of Linux/Unix standard services, including using mySQL, networking, and storage systems
â¢Professional experience in Web Hosting and Email Hosting technologies
â¢Knowledge of at least one script language (e.g. Shell, Perl, PHP, Python)
