Job description
This is a full-time position (7 hrs. per day =35 hours per week). If you are not available full time, please do not apply for this position.
The ideal candidate should have technical knowledge in of use of antibodies for cancer diagnostics using Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Candidate should have very good knowledge of general laboratory practices (preparation of solutions, handling chemicals, pipetting, etc.), good record keeping and ability to understand manufacturing, purification of antibodies and to conduct IHC optimization experiments unsupervised (after formal training). Training will include handling antibodies, protein purification, optimization and validation of immunochemicals using IHC under an ISO, GMP/FDA regulations.
Along with laboratory knowledge, the right candidate would provide the bridge among Technical Services, Research and Development Department, Production, QA and the Sales and Marketing teams. The ideal candidate should have an interest in Graphic Design, Web Design, Product Development and Product Marketing. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to think creatively, and work with different departments to develop products and lead their launching strategies to provide optimum impact in the cancer diagnostics filed.
Job requirements
B.S. in a biology or chemistry-related field. Experience with Good Laboratory practices, R&D, Graphic Design, good record keeping and computer-internet literacy a must.
