Our ideal candidate will be a hard-working, driven, self-managed professional who enjoys seeking out new business! This individual will be responsible for bringing in new catering clients and creating/closing orders.
Job Description
Our catering sales rep will target and coordinate new sales. The role includes initiating new catering customers, work directly with leadership to seek-out specific local businesses, and maintaining relationships with customers.
The Job:
Prospecting, cold calling, canvassing and leveraging your territory and network to gather leads. (This is a big portion of the position.)
Face-to-face consulting with corporate clients, caterers, food purveyors, and the like to become a trusted asset to their catering fulfillment process.
Educating clients on the product and how they can leverage it to make their team or customers happy.
Prepare catering estimates and negotiate contracts.
Own the full sales cycle; working cross-functionally with multiple internal departments and delivery team to facilitate outstanding customer service.
Handle catering financials, as needed; provide invoices to clients, calculate and provide all estimates, and collect payment once a catering event is booked.
Provide constructive and timely feedback on the seasonal catering menu and catering marketing assets as needed. Support the in-house culinary team and design team to develop effective communications that foster long-term catering client relationships.

Minimum 2 years outside sales experience
Must have above average skills with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
Must be meticulous about entering customer data, notes, details of every sales interaction for tracking and measurement.
Ability to work remotely in their territory daily.
Ability to multitask. (Can you be on the phone and your computer at the same time?)
Ability to work and adapt to a fast-paced and demanding environment.
Able to consistently achieve quota, has a competitive spirit and takes accountability.
Compensation/Benefits:
Hourly base rate.
Work from Home or Office.
Uncapped commission with high earning potential.
Cell phone reimbursement stipend.
