Excel Personnel Services is currently recruiting for a Systems Support Coordinator in the Santa Barbara area. This position is full time and temporary (starting 5/6/2019 and expected to last until 12/28/2019). The schedule for this position will be decided upon hire (it is 40 hours/week, 8 hours/day). Job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Execute work requests for microcomputer hardware, software, and peripheral equipment needs initiated by end users (including assigning tasks to microcomputer technicians, performing installations, and end user training)
Define and coordinate preventative maintenance activities related to microcomputers
Assist in the definition and coordination of microcomputer configuration standards
Maintain an inventory of all microcomputer equipment, including peripheral devices
Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
Must have experience with systems support, technical support, end user training, and maintenance
AA Degree is preferred
Must have a minimum of mid-level experience working in this area
Must have experience with Microsoft Windows Operating System
Must have 2+ years of direct experience with microcomputer hardware and software operation, management, and repair
Ability to work independently, with little to no instruction, as well as on a team
Ability to multi-task, properly prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
Ability to interact with end users at all levels of knowledge of microcomputers
Ability to properly communicate through both oral and written correspondence
Ability to teach and demonstrate to end users how to utilize hardware and software
