GLP is currently hiring for the following positions:
JOURNEYMAN PLUMBER -
Ideal candidate must have experience in new construction and remodels. Looking for someone to run 2-3 man crew. Candidate must have good understanding of plumbing codes, be able to read plans and layout plumbers for ground up thru trim out, coordinate with contractors and subcontractors, and support all plumbing inspections. Majority of plumbing work done for high end custom builds throughout Santa Barbara, Montecito, and Hope Ranch.
APPRENTICE PLUMBER - No prior plumbing experience required.
As an apprentice plumber you will work under the direct supervision of a qualified Journeyman Plumber learning to assemble, install or repair pipes, fittings, or fixtures of heating, water or drainage systems according to specifications or plumbing codes, additional responsibilities include:
Measuring, cutting, threading and assembling new pipe, placing the assembled pipe in hangers or other supports, cutting or drilling holes in walls or floors to accommodate the passage of pipes, performing rough-ins, and repairing or removing leaking or broken pipes.
SERVICE PLUMBER -
Full time residential service plumbing technician with a minimum of 5 years experience running residential house calls. Job duties include replacing or repairing high end plumbing fixtures, sewer drain cleaning, water heater repairs or replacement, diagnosing, repairing or replacing various types of plumbing fixtures. Ideal candidate must have good people skills, a professional appearance and attitude.
