Alloy wheel repair specialists is hiring for an awesome, full time delivery driver!
Applicant requirements:
-transportation to and from our shop in Goleta
-clean driving record (at least decent!)
-good work ethic
-strong communication skills
-must be able to lift at least 50lbs safely
-good organization skills
-must be able to work well with our clients and our team
-Ability to drive manual or standard (stick shift transmission)
- Some type of mechanical or automotive background or experience
-passion for working on fine automobiles and trucks
We offer delivery and pickup to our clients throughout all of Santa Barbara county, Ventura county and beyond so the majority of your day would be on deliveries. We provide you with a delivery vehicle as well as all tools needed for removal and installation of Alloy Wheels. The technical side of this job includes but is not limited to: installation of spare tires, jacking and supporting of cars and trucks on floor jacks , jack stands and automotive lifts. Our customer base consist of bodyshops, Autommotive shops, dealerships as well as retail customers. You will also be trained to operate tire mounting and balancing equipment, invoicing and collections of payments and helping out with customer service. During downtime and in between deliveries you would be responsible for general shop cleanup and vehicle maintenance as well as helping our team with other tasks around our shop. Once again, good communication skills are a must as we will dispatch pickups and deliveries via text and phone calls throughout the day as they come in to our main office.
