We are a Santa Barbara-based tour company. Ideally full-time (30-35 hours per week) but will consider part-time as well.
This job involves driving (primarily) tourists around the city of Santa Barbara with music and some narration. Hours of operation are generally during daylight hours with a general start time of 11:30am and end time 6:30pm in the Spring/Summer, with a few evening jobs. (again, hours may vary) YES, THIS JOB INCLUDES WEEKENDS.
This is a unique, open-air vehicle with a very small driving cabin. Due to the nature of this unique vehicle, this driving job is NOT suitable for someone over 6ft tall or for someone who has back problems. Please DO NOT APPLY if you are over 6 ft. tall or if you have any kind of back problems.
The ideal person for this job has the following qualities:
(1) experience driving passengers
(2) large vehicle experience
(3) likes being outdoors
(4) enjoys and has patience with tourists and kids
(5) has knowledge about and likes to answer questions about SB/Montecito
(6) is very friendly and outgoing
(7) is able to narrate while driving
Sales experience a PLUS
Tour guide experience also a PLUS
Knowledge of cars/mechanics a HUGE PLUS

If you are interested you MUST meet the following criteria:
-Be at least 25 years of age with a valid CA driver's license
-Have a clean driving record
-Own a smart cell phone AND earpiece, (Airpods or some sort of Bluetooth wireless earpiece)
-Have your own transportation or a RELIABLE method of getting to and from work without issues
-Live in SB, Goleta, Montecito, Summerland, Carpinteria. We may not consider anyone who lives outside of these areas.
-Enjoy talking to people (i.e. not shy) - have patience with tourists.
-Know the SB/Montecito/Goleta areas fairly well.
