Underdog Media is seeking the right candidates to join our Engineering team. You are an accomplished web programmer with serious talent in Full Stack JavaScript with a toolbox of experience in other programming languages, BS in Computer Science and experience in software development. Consideration will be given to different employment levels including full-time/part-time and student internships.
As a Developer at Underdog Media you will be working with a collaborative team and will have a direct impact on business initiatives working to develop the latest technologies in advertising delivery and optimization. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has a passion for solving complex and engaging problems and enjoys learning new emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in Javascript
- Familiar with latest Javascript development framework and open-source tools.
- React, Node.js, Angular, HTML, CSS.
- Strong database/SQL skills.
- Scripting languages ( ie Ruby, Perl, Python ).
- Experience with ad tech tools Prebid.js and Google Ad Manager (DFP) is a big plus!
- Performance profiling experience.
- Excellent Communication and Collaboration.
- Expertise with Linux systems and multi-threaded programming.
- Experience with C and interest in Go is a big plus.
- Experience developing cloud based systems is another boost.
- BS or higher in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- Local, in-office work required. ( no telecommuting )
