As part of the Strata Network Security dataplane team, you are responsible for developing and innovating solutions for Palo Alto Networks next-generation Firewalls. Specifically in the areas of routing protocols, networking technologies and data plane architecture. You will also be responsible for innovation, developing proof of concept and productizing 'new' ideas by implementing them and collaborating with team members.
Your ImpactBS/MS degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
Experience of in-depth C programming experience
Architect/Senior Principal Engineer experience in networking technologies, system architecture
Strong technical knowledge in computer architecture and systems engineering
Experience in Intel and Cavium network processors desired
Knowledge in Cloud solutions is desired
Strong experience in large scale software development on Unix/Linux
In-depth knowledge in networking (L1-L7) protocols and tunneling technologies (IPsec, GRE, GTP)
Experience on data plane forwarding and network processor

Disclosure required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum compensation (includes on-target earnings = base + on target incentives for sales roles) for this role to be located in the state of Colorado. If hired in Colorado, this position starts at $138,900/yr. Depending on the position offered, restricted stock units and incentive or bonus pay may be provided as part of this compensation package.
