System Operations Engineer

We’re seeking a dedicated System/IT Operation Engineer to build NVIDIA next-generation AI, compute, and network systems. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing and maintaining complex hardware systems while collaborating with various teams to ensure seamless operations. This dynamic and fast-paced environment will require strong problem-solving skills and system-level debugging expertise, along with effective teamwork among exceptional engineers across NVIDIA's global sites.What You’ll Be Doing:

Monitor and maintain infrastructure, including servers and network switches, to ensure high availability and optimal performance.

Build, configure, and maintain computing systems from scratch, integrating network software and hardware components.

Resolve issues related to desktop applications, workstations, and peripheral equipment, especially during new hardware bring-up.

Identify, diagnose, and address critical problems, including software compatibility, OS boot processes, power-on issues, and network communications.

Efficiently coordinate team purchasing requests and manage inventory to uphold operational efficiency.

What We Need to See:

Proficiency in programming with Python/C and familiarity with Linux environments and bash scripting.

2+ years of experience in similar function

BSEE/BSCE or equivalent experience

Strong system-level understanding and hands-on lab experience.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with interdisciplinary knowledge.

Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd:

Demonstrated experience in network administration, electronics engineering, or equivalent roles in the semiconductor sector.

Consistent track record in a lab environment with a deep understanding of complex embedded systems.

Ability to address Docker/container issues effectively.

Willingness to work within a team environment of constantly evolving requirements
