DeveloperEvangelist Currently fully remote, however, once things kind of return to normal there will be some time needed in the office. However, there will likely be a balance of remote days as well. Travel is limited to driving to speaking engagements (meetups). Other travel, once per quarter, may be required to attend trade shows or visit HQ
Job Responsibilities: • Maintain code (React) supporting the Developers portal and site • Develop written and video tutorials to guide developers using the Machina platform • Plan, organize, and participate in developer community events including meetups, trade shows and hackathons • Lead developer training workshops for customers and partners • Collaborate with Product Managers to incorporate feedback from the community • Provide technical support to customers, partners, and users Requirements: • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Experience developing software and familiar with common developer tools and frameworks • Experience with JavaScript, React, NPM. Java, Python, C, C# are also helpful • Comfortable with Git workflows • Capable of creating developer tutorials and guides • Ability to engage external software developers at a technical level • Ability to understand customer needs to offer available solutions or identify new requirements • Willingness to travel Preferred: • Experience with developer tools, including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins and Artifactory. • Experience committing to open source projects • Active in Stack Overflow or other software development forums • Experience developing apps using cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, etc)
