A well-established signage company is looking for a Graphic Designer & Drafter to add to our team. Work out of our Santa Maria design and manufacturing office.
This is a fast paced and flexible environment where you'll often be working on several interesting new projects everyday.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Good understanding of Vector based design/CAD. (We use Adobe Illustrator.)
- Generate production proofs for client approval.
- Draft production drawings of sign assemblies for fabrication.
- Some exposure / understanding of construction plans
- Able to create schedules / packing list in Excel of signs on each project.
- Able create installation packets for installers to use to complete installation of signs.
- Work with sales team to sell your design!
General Skills
- Able to convert fractions to decimal and work at scale.
- Good verbal and written communication with client and team.
- Good time management to meet client deadlines.
