Each hospital is supported by an active philanthropic Foundation to provide additional funding to support new programs and services, as well as to advance the community's access to health care.ResponsibilitiesAbout This PositionIn keeping with the Marian Medical Center philosophy, the Infusion Suite RN performs functions that include deliveringchemotherapy and therapeutic agents via I.V. administration, providing patient education, assessment and follow-up anddocumenting in the electronic medical record. Also performs related work as required. This is under the supervision ofthe Director of Oncology.Selection Criteria
Preferred: OCN Certification
Possess the necessary skills in theadministration of chemotherapy drugs
Working knowledge of various venousaccess devices.
Knowledge of and practicesCDC standards regarding exposure to blood
and other body fluids.
Possesses in-depthknowledge of medical disorders associatedwith cancer and chemotherapy.
Must possess current Registered Nursing License
