BAR MANAGER JOB REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES

 Manage their staff and vendors to ensure a smooth running, profitable business.

 Responsible for Entertainment/talent acquisition, training and mentoring to ensure that service and drink standards are consistent.

 Maintain appearance of bar both inside & out. Create & Manage sanitation and cleanliness side duties schedule for bar staff.

 Responsible for ordering products necessary for entire bar to function, turning inventory & depleting dead stock, controlling labor, controlling waste, nightly accounting, marketing, visual and the general upkeep of the establishment.

 Develop drink specials & cocktail menu program

 Manage day to day operations for drink service

 Manage all bartending & security staff and scheduling

 Assist with all beer, wine, and liquor ordering via InteliPar & Provi system.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE:

Must be 21 years of age.

High school or GED equivalent

4 years minimum bartending experience

2 years staff management experience. (Bar and/or restaurant management experience a bonus, but not required.)

Provide Certificate of RBS for all California Alcohol Servers. State specific requirements as of July 1 2022.

COMPUTER & EQUIPMENT SKILLS & GENERAL ABILITY:

Home computer or laptop

Ability to operate a POS system

Microsoft Office -Excel, word, outlook

Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds frequently.

Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to bend and twist, push and pull, stoop, and kneel.

BAR MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION

 Provide welcoming, responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times to every guest, filling in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.

 Ensure that all beverage products are consistently prepared and served according to the recipes, portioning, and serving standards.

 Maintain a weekly Sculpture Efficiency Rating of 95% or better by working along side Sculpture Hospitality of the Central Coast.

 Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the bar, employees and guests.

 Help Implement policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs.

 Administering prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules and procedures.

 Continually strive to develop your staff in all areas of managerial and professional development by coordinating all training with new associates, as well as coordinating training opportunities for self and team.

 Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition. Facilitate repairs on equipment when necessary.

 Schedule labor as required by anticipated business activity while ensuring that all positions are staffed when and as needed and labor cost objectives are met.

 Work with vendors and marketing to update all menus and product pricing.

 Monitor reports and inventory, and personnel and address and irregularities and report to ownership.

 Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with bar policies and procedures.
