Full-time position/40+ hours per week
M-F and occasional weekends

Summary
Assures attainment of designated sales objectives and effective distribution of assigned products by carrying out the duties and responsibilities selling, servicing and merchandising PBC products to accounts on the assigned route.
Essential Functions
Walks account to look for sales opportunities. Takes sales orders via handheld and merchandising instructions on the work order. Pursues non-buying accounts to achieve maximum targeted distribution. Checks point of sale (POS) advertising to ensure it is current, operational, and in good condition. Checks stock rotation, and stocks shelves as necessary. Conducts full rotation of account on a 4-week cycle following supplier code date policies. Cover sales routes for team members out on vacation, sick or having a day off. Complies with federal and state safety regulations and Company safety policies and procedures. Performs additional duties as assigned, delegated, or required.
Use of personal vehicle required for travel to all customer accounts.
Mileage reimbursement will be providedmonthly,based on work miles driven.
Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid California driver's license and driving record in accordance with company established guidelines.
Skills
Demonstrated ability to use computer entry systems to obtain account information and place an order. Working knowledge of PC and MAC platforms in addition to the following programs: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 170 pounds.
