Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking a detailed orientated, compassionate Full Time/Part Time
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Under the supervision of the Program Administrator, you will provide nursing care to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in a residential setting. This position is located in the Santa Barbara area.
This is a position for a caring individual with great organizational skills and with experience providing care to individuals that have moderate and severe disabilities including autism spectrum diagnosis. As a CNA you will work as part of a healthcare team to provide quality nursing care to individuals served.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Assist individuals with activities of daily living such as bathing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, and incontinence care
Transfers, lifts, moves, and transports individuals using proper body mechanics or lifting devices for accident prevention
Communicates effectively and tactfully with individuals served, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors
Knowledgeable of individualized care plans and provides support according to the individual's care plan
Education: High school diploma or equivalent, graduate of an approved CNA program, and valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in California.
Experience: Minimum of one year experience as a certified nursing assistant is preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must possess and maintain valid driver's license.
