Job Title: Sample Collection Assistant
Compensation: Hourly at $25/hour
Location: Santa Maria, CA
Summary
Aptitude Medical Systems (Doing Business as Aptitude Clinical Diagnostics) operates a CLIA-certified clinical laboratory providing high-sensitivity COVID-19 molecular tests. Our CLIA lab was built to handle thousands of COVID-19 tests per day. We strive to provide professional service and rapid result at an affordable cost to enterprises, communities, and individuals, and we are serving several of Santa Barbara County’s largest employers. We are seeking 2 capable and driven Sample Collection Assistants to join our tight-knit team. The work location for this position in Santa Maria, California.
Your responsibilities
Site set up of designated area including signage and testing area;
Be the point person at our clinical specimen collection site and interface with customers;
Explain test procedure, supervise self-collection of saliva specimen, log in relevant information;
Work closely with customer service and lab operation team members.
In this dynamic working environment, other responsibilities may be added.
Your qualifications
Punctuality, reliability, and meticulous attitude toward work required;
Must be able to precisely carry out tasks according to standard procedure;
Candidates with motivation to work on a long-term, full-time basis preferred, but not required;
Experience in healthcare preferred, but not required.
