Veterinary Assistant/Technician â A great position, working in our mobile clinics!
Our Buellton location needs a full-time OR part-time Veterinary Assistant/ Technician to work in our Mobile Clinics in the Santa Ynez Valley and Santa Barbara areas. Experience is required.
Schedule: Work schedules are flexible and usually consist of 2 - 4 ten-hour days, weekends required, and no on call. The practice culture is family friendly and allows for excellent work/life balance. Candidates must be able to work independently, be flexible, possess a professional communication manner and excellent teamwork skills. Ability to work all day with veterinary team partners is essential as you drive from home to home providing veterinary services. Genuine interest in wanting to help people and their pets is necessary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include working with vaccination records, practice software and other computer programs, assisting veterinarians with medical procedures, dispensing medications, routine injections, dental cleaning, routine laboratory procedures, catheterization, administering IVâs, anesthesia and intubation procedures, anesthesia monitoring, taking digital radiographs, working with routine medical equipment and more.
