Evergreen Animal Clinic in Santa Maria has an opening for a Veterinary Technician (Licensed RVT) or experienced Veterinary Assistant. We are a busy, multi-doctor, small animal clinic open Monday-Saturday. The position can be part- or full-time. We offer an upbeat and caring work environment.

Skills Required:
Proper Animal Restraint
Blood Draws
Knowledge of anesthesia and anesthetic monitoring
Radiology and Radiation Safety
General nursing care
Basic knowledge of medications used and prescribed in hospital
Ability to communicate with doctors and clients in verbal, written, and digital form
Knowledge of medical record keeping
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to handle difficult emotional situations, including euthanasia
Ability and willingness to assist in daily cleaning tasks
Must be available to work Saturdays
Must be dependable and punctual
