We are currently hiring for a Comm/control/electrical helper position in the Vandenberg AFB area. This position is full-time, temporary, and expected to last for 4-6 months. The payrate for this position is $17-$21 an hour. If you are interested and qualified, apply ASAP
Duties & responsibilities include but are not restricted to:
Perform electrical tasks on buildings, components, grounds & work areas.
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on facility equipment
Maintenance of generators
Duties can include bending conduits, pull wire, install plugs and switches, etc.
Perform work from instructions using blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
Install electrical components according to current NEC code
Uses power and hand tools
Performs miscellaneous tasks as directed
Always adhere to safety protocols
Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Electrician license or certification
Valid California drivers’ license, clean driving record.
Ability to gain Vandenberg AFB access.
Ability to lift, move, push up to 50 lbs.
