ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Landscape grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, sprinkler installation, and installation of artificial turf.
Answer customers questions and/or concerns in a clear concise and courteous manner.
Greets the customers
Provide customers with the necessary information to achieve customer satisfaction.
Use tools, such as shovels, rakes, hammer, tillers, artificial turf rakes, and other tools as needed.
Spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, or trees, using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders.
Landscape by planting flowers, grass, shrubs, trees, bushes, and bark/mulch.
Install rock, cement, pavers, lighting, water, and installation of artificial turf and sod.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. +
Installation of irrigation system, drip systems, sprinkler controllers, valves above ground, in ground valves, and drainage systems.
Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
Providing information to supervisors, and co-workers, by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Team Player, fast learner, maintain professionalism, punctual, good customer service skills
PREFERRED SKILLS
Has interest and/or experience in landscaping
ADDITIONAL NOTES
Good driving record, ability to communicate with all types of customers, Bilingual a plus but not required
$12.00 to $18.00 hourly DOE
