Olive Ranch Supervisor - Temp-To-Hire Opportunity
Job Location: Solvang, CA.

Responsibilities of the Supervisor
Under general supervision of the Assistant manager performs general maintenance work, minor repairs, equipment maintenance and other related facets of general maintenance to structures and equipment. Maintenance including but not limited to the trees, irrigation system, water supply, weed control, insect control, orchard- milling operation and harvest operations and procedures, This includes the maintenance and cleanliness of all equipment and structures.
Primarily responsible for maintenance, control, and use of all hazardous control substances for olive operations. Prepares and maintains reports, records, and inventory of all hazardous controlled substances in the possession of Regency Olive Ranch as required by local authorities, including but not limited to administer, schedule and perform duties related to pest and weed control. Responsible for the operation of the Processing Center including but not limited to all aspects of cold press operations, storage of oil, maintenance of related equipment, building and cleaning and upkeep of same. Maintain accurate production records including inventory of oil and related supplies.
Prepares and maintains reports, records and inventory Olive Ranch equipment and activities. Provides the Assistant Manager with highly responsible and complex status reports on Olive production matters.
Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Assistant Manager. This position may require night and weekend work.
Requirements of the Supervisor
● Must be able to speak, write, and comprehend English.
● High School Graduate or equivalent certificate.
● Possession of a valid California State Driver’ s License
● 3 years previous experience in a supervisory position.
● Must be in possession of a valid and verifiable proof of eligibility to work.
● Must have basic knowledge and understanding of irrigation electrical and olive matters.
● Must be able to physically lift 50 lbs of dead weight.
