The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all service requests are completed either by staff or third party contractor to the highest standard of workmanship. Also responsible for inspection of common areas on a daily basis for compliance with company standards.
What you'll be doing
â¢Responsible for inspecting 100% of all emergency and urgent service requests and 10% of all routine service requests to ensure the highest quality of workmanship.
â¢Responsible for ensuring that any workmanship that is not completed to standards is immediately corrected. Follow through until completed satisfactorily.
â¢Identify the cause of any substandard work of personnel and collaborate with management on a corrective action plan which may include additional training of personnel or disciplinary action as warranted.
â¢Identify the cause of any substandard work performed by contractor and collaborate with management on a corrective action plan which may include withholding of payments and/or contract termination.
â¢On a weekly basis, inspect all playgrounds for cleanliness and safety. Inspect all Community Centers, pools, spray parks and common areas for cleanliness and safety.
â¢Authors and creates all corresponding documentation tracking inspection results and reviews these with the Community Manager on a consistent basis.
â¢Retrieves and enters data into/from property management database system (Yardi) throughout the process and communicates findings to site management.
â¢Performs other duties as assigned.
Who we're looking for
â¢Possession of a valid state issued Drivers License and safe driving record is required.
â¢To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess basic skills with tools, proficient in repairing HVAC systems, appliances, kitchen operating systems, electrical wiring, and bathroom and plumbing systems.
â¢Strong proficiency in utilizing Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and adept at learning additional software programs.
â¢High school diploma required.
