Requirements:
Must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening. Must pass standard physical test. Must have valid drivers license. Must pass a basic Math and English test. Must have insurance approval on drivers license. Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent plus one year experience in a related field. Must be able to keep accurate and detailed records.
Responsibilities:
Safely operates process equipment and tank storage facilities. Safely test and blends product for quality control. Safely gauges tanks, load and unloads trucks and mil cars. Safely operate and maintains mechanical equipment such as pumps, stationery engines and air compressors. Must read meters and gauges to verify operating conditions, record data and perform general maintenance of refinery equipment. Safely load or oversee loading of trucks and railcars as needed with products. Safely weigh trucks and do required paperwork.
Essential Job Functions:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Able to write routine reports and correspondence and communicate effectively to customers or employees. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent. Must be able to solve practical problems. Required to stand, use hands, handle objects and tools, controls, reach with hands and arms. Required to walk, climb or balance. Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, and smell. Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs on occasion. Required to use close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Due to safety sensitive nature of position, employee is subject to random, reasonable suspicion, post-accident and return to duty drug/alcohol screening.
