Successful and well-established ISO registered company looking to add a new member to our quality team!
We are looking to hire a Quality Inspector with experience performing part validation in a high-precision machining environment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an ISO registered work-environment, and be familiar with the development of and adherence to standard operating procedures and work-flows.
This position is specifically focused on the execution of both in-process and final QA for close-tolerance components, ensuring our customers receive accurate and acceptable parts. The following skills and experience are required:
The ability to correctly use all basic inspection tools, including micrometers and depth gages.
Blueprint/Engineering drawing interpretation
Working knowledge / understanding of feature dimensioning /tolerance using GD&T
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Computer literacy, most notably using Microsoft Office Suite applications
Solid work habits, completing tasks and staying organized
Minimum 3-years experience in a CNC machining environment
Additional preferred skills (but not required):
Measurement experience using vision systems and/or CMMs
SPC experience
CNC Lathe or Mill experience
Logistics/Warehousing experience/knowledge
