We are looking for another dedicated person to join us. We have an immediate opening for a full time Regulatory Affairs Associate/Quality Assurance Technician at our headquarters in Santa Maria, CA. The RAA/QA Technicians responsibilities include but are not limited to: assisting the Director of Quality Assurance in managing all non-financial audits. Also assists with ISO, FDA and other governmental agency regulatory affairs including licenses, compliance inspections and correspondence. Carries out the daily responsibilities and tasks for the following systems: internal audits, design and process control, recall and withdrawal process, risk mitigation and hazard and medical waste program. Maintenance of various processes/systems including calibration, validation, equipment qualification, environmental monitoring and CAPA. Creates and revises company procedures, protocols and policies in compliance with regulatory requirement for medical diagnostic devise products. Minimum requirements include a bachelors degree or five years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of two years regulatory/compliance experience, college courses in regulatory affairs, microbiology, chemistry, biochemistry as well as computer literacy in word processing and spreadsheet software are preferred. A minimum of 12 hours of documented continuing education annually is also preferred.
