The Position:
The FSS Child Care Provider will provide essential child care during parenting and relationship classes. The Child Care Provider will work collaboratively with co-child care providers, program participants, and FSA staff to promote safe, nurturing, and enriching child care for participants children. Hours will vary; will work on an intermittent basis. The Child Care Provider will report to the Family Support Services Supervisor. There is the possibility of additional hours if the candidate is interested in also serving in Santa Maria.
Employment Standards:
Experience providing child care in an informal or formal setting.
Professional attitude, teamwork, and ability to maintain confidentiality a must.
Must have reliable transportation.
Requires background check and TB screening.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Classification, Hours and Pay Rate:
This position is part-time/as needed, non-exempt, paying $16.50/hour
