TITLE: Friday Night Live(FNL)- Project Specialist Part-time (20) hours
ORGANIZATION: Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelorâs degree in Psychology or Sociology preferred, other related field, or some college.
- Strong administrative skills, ability to write professional letters and reports.
-Self-oriented, strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to interact with diverse groups of people, including teens, parents and professionals.
-Public speaking skills, ability to conduct training and educational presentations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Coordinates Environmental Prevention efforts in Santa Maria (through community outreach and media advocacy) under supervision of the county coordinator
-Maintain current documentation of chapter requirements, and student records in database
- Build students capacity through campus activities, conferences, and leadership trainings by providing education to teens about health issues to schools and community.
- Fosters and maintains community relationship for FNL/CL through networking and public awareness.
-Serves as a liaison between North County advisors and County Coordinator
