Dispatch / Office Assistant

Labor Finders is currently seeking a dispatcher/office assistant for a reputable company located in the Solvang area. We are looking for an individual who is efficient and able to multi-task. The ideal candidate is resourceful, a good problem solver and organized. Assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner is key to success in this position. This is a temp to hire position for the right candidate
Duties and Responsibilities:
● Ensuring that deadlines are met, and work is completed correctly
● Generate memos, emails and reports when appropriate
● Assume responsibility for maintenance of office equipment, including computers, copy machines and fax machines
● Respond to questions and requests for information
● Ability to speak and communicate effectively in English
● Filing, data entry and assume other receptionist duties as assigned
● Answer phones and routing radio traffic
Qualifications and Skills:
Proficiency in Outlook and Microsoft Word, and Excel
Ability to analyze and revise operating practices to improve efficiency
Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
Exceptional communication skills
Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner
Must be efficient and responsible
Must pass a background and drug screen
Must be reliable in attendance
Pay:
$13 to $16 per hour depending on experience
