Dr. J’s Bicycle Shop in Solvang is looking for a part-time customer-focused ambassador to assist in our busy retail, service and bike tour departments. The ideal candidate will be resourceful, have great customer service skills and be a well-organized self-starter. Knowledge and passion for bicycles is a definite bonus, but we are willing to train the right person!
We need someone to help us 3 to 4 days per week to answer customers' questions about bikes, parts and accessories, where to ride, and how to take care of their bikes. This person will also assist in working the cash register, inputting new inventory and helping out with our bicycle rental and cycling tour department.
Previous retail experience of 1 or 2 years is preferred, but not mandatory for the right person. Competitive wages starting out at $17+ per hour with an optional hourly rate review at 3 months. Paid sick leave. Performance and annual bonuses available.
