Overview:
This position REQUIRES possession of a current BSIS issued Guard Card.
The Unarmed Security Officer provides on-site security services for clients. All duties must be performed in accordance with client and company policies and standard operating procedures, following all state and federal regulations. Our team is looking for individuals who are dependable, optimistic, problem solvers who lead by example.
Overview of Duties and Responsibilities
Provide security services at local sites
Serve as a visible security presence at client locations
Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols
Utilization of tour tracking software in the performance of daily duties
Prepare accurate and detailed security logs and incident reports
Collaboration with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
Maintain visitor and employee access logs
Provide customer service driven, professional security services
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Must possess and maintain a current BSIS issued Guard Certification
1 year experience in the security industry (preferred)
1 year of customer service (preferred)
Demonstrate a high level of professionalism
Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills
Must be flexible and possess the ability to function in stressful situations
Knowledgeable in general security industry standards and methods (preferred)
Demonstrate ability to communicate clearly and effectively
A dependable team player with business maturity, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude
Education and Certification Requirements
Possession of current BSIS issued Guard Card certification (required)
Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Possession of a valid Driver’s License (preferred)
Frequent extended sitting, standing, and walking
Frequent climbing stairs, ramps, and occasionally ladders
Frequent bending, twisting, and kneeling
Occasional lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
Occasional running, as needed
Frequent reaching and grasping
Other:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Employment is conditioned on successful completion of background check
If prior military, must provide DD214 discharge document with discharge status upon job offer
This position includes Graveyard shifts
Bonus is paid as follows: $600.00 at 90 days post employment.
