Position with an Established Landscaping Firm
Daily Hours from 7 to 330 each week day. M thru F.
Compensation:
This position in the company will make an hourly wage between: $20 and $29 depending on experience, and other factors that pertain to each prospective hire.
There is room to grow within the company (no glass ceiling)
Some PTO days will be available after some the new hire has had time with the company commitment will have to be established at that point.
Smooth and efficient work will be rewarded when it can be. employees always treated very well and honorably.
Must have clean drivers license record and the ability to comfortably drive company vehicles, ideally comfortable with driving trailers (dump trailer, etc). Must have reliable transportation to get to work.
Landscaping Construction Foreman:
The position has laborers under his or her supervision. But also works full time amongst the crew. This is a full-time working position (laboring in field). The company already has construction manager. We are looking for the in-the-field foreman.
Irrigation mastery is a must for this position.
Location: most of our jobs are in Arroyo Grande. We hardly ever work above the grade (in the heat). We do work in Morro Bay, Slo and Osos.
Attributes that fit well with our style:
We obviously like to work fast and efficiently, but we do high quality. High attention to detail. Someone willing to take the time to make things right. A bit of a perfectionist (not overboard, but not willing to leave loose ends). Fast workers are great too, just saying that we like to have very few "call-backs."
No drug and alcohol problems will be tolerated.
We do great landscaping installation work. We do very few maintenance accounts. Mostly Design and Build work. Pavers, flagstone, etc. Air-Vol materials.
We currently are sub-contracting our concrete work to a great group of guys. You can get experience with this/them if you wished.
Obviously lots of plants. Drought tolerant, low maintenance.
