Position Overview:
If hired, you will be working alongside our professional team to install, maintain, and repair pipes and fixtures associated with plumbing, remodels, water conditioning, purification, irrigation and sanitation systems in residential and commercial structures. Inspect all plumbing systems and fixtures for compliance with local and national regulations, while providing customers with the most cost effective solutions for their service requirements.
Job Duties:
Installation and/or repair of plumbing, filtration, and water purification systems for household and commercial structures while confirming existing equipment and any work performed is up to code.
Analyze problems and identify appropriate tools and materials for repairs.
Assists with inspection and testing of plumbing systems to identify leaks and/or problems, replace worn parts and determine need for upgrade or new purchase.
Works closely with Parts/Service Manager to convey any necessary purchase requirements for plumbing parts or materials based on customer specific need and existing inventory.
Assists in modification of length of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing materials at job sites as directed or determined necessary by immediate supervisor.
Learn and follow health and safety standards while complying with all building codes and related requirements.
Provides detailed report/account of all repairs and recommendations on invoice - including but not limited to documenting the problem, summary of actions taken, and any additional recommendations provided to the customer during courtesy walk-thru once job is complete.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2-3 years prior plumbing experience. Familiarity with and adherence to all building codes, permit requirements, local and national regulations. Addtional skillset including but not limited to: Collaborative team-player, problem-solving, analytical, troubleshooting, decision-making, good interpersonal, listening, customer-service and verbal communication skills, time-management, mathematical calculations, mechanical and technical skills, physical stamina and strength.
