Experienced or entry level MOTORCOACH, CHARTER COACH, School Bus or Transit Bus Mechanic (Grover Beach)

Are you searching for a career instead of just a job? We are looking for a great candidate who wants to learn how to maintain large buses while getting paid. We need an upbeat, energetic, hardworking candidate with a positive attitude to work as an entry or experienced bus technician in our maintenance facility.
Motorcoach Diesel Mechanic Technician Perform preventative maintenance, correct defects, prepare buses for DOT/CHP inspections and work as a team member.
REQUIREMENTS;
Automotive technical education preferred
High school diploma, GED or equivalent
Valid CDL driver's license (we will train) and clean DMV driving record.
Must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs such as Excel and Word helpful
Automotive computer experience a must.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Subject to Motor Vehicle Records Check and prior Employment History Check
One year of hands-on education and/or repair experience preferred
Knowledge of A/C system, electrical system and preventative maintenance helpful
Ability to work with little to no supervision; self-motivating
ASE Certifications preferred; must be willing/able to obtain certifications
Basic mechanic's tool set required
Experienced mechanics are welcome to appl.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform annual inspections, perform preventative maintenance based on pre-defined schedules.
Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs independently.
Evaluate mechanical problems in vehicles using diagnostic equipment.
Removal and replacement of various bus parts.
Understand the theory and capable of disassembling, assembling and troubleshooting.
