Description An education services company located in Santa Monica is looking for a Human Resources Generalist. As the HR Generalist, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the recruitment efforts for the organization. You will collaborate with senior leadership on retention and HR related business strategies, source through resumes and other resources, make the initial outreach to candidates, work through employee performance plans, conduct employee surveys, and work with the line managers throughout the recruiting process. You will also be responsible for supporting the HR Generalist with gathering information for payroll, data entry into their ATS system, employee file maintenance, and special administrative and HR projects for the HR department. Robert Half is looking for a candidate with at least 3 years of HR experience. Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills are required! This is a hybrid position in Culver City, working 2 days onsite and 3 days remotely and salary range is 80-90k DOE.Requirements ResponsibilitiesEmployee relations, including engaging employees and coordinating sensitive conversations

Design templates for HR documents, including the Employee Handbook

Responsible for completing various tasks to support the daily operations of the HR department

Engage with upper management, employees, and third-party vendors

Work with other members of the HR department to manage the hiring and onboarding process for new company employees

Design & /or support a recruitment plan according to operational and business projections

Develop employee engagement plans, including budget approvals and management oversite

Create official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary adjustments, updates to the employee handbook, leave of absences, and warning/termination letters

Compare local, state, and federal laws to current internal policies and procedures

Conduct employee performance reviews, including assisting with annual reviews, appraising pay scales, and coordinating disciplinary action (including terminations if necessary)

Create onboarding plans and educate newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations

Manage digital and physical files for employees and their documents, including benefits, attendance records, and annual review
