A SaaS company that works directly with shippers like Amazon and Walmart is hiring a Mid level Software Engineer to join a team of 7. This specific team works on the main logistics application that allows clients to know exactly where is product is at during any given time within the shipping line. If the good is on a boat/plane, this application can say exactly where the product is on the vessel, where the vessel is, when it will arrive, and where. It's extremely high volume and B2B. This team works with Java, Spring Boot, React, AWS, Rest API, Microservices, CI/CD, SQL and will provide some exposure to python, flask, and cloud native. This is a full stack role doing 50% front end and 50% middle tier/backend development, but they are open to someone who's strong with Java/Spring and open to learning React/Typescript. They have two Senior React Engineers on the team who would train you up, so no front end experience is necessary for this role. Since this is a startup there will be a lot of greenfield development as well. This is a fully remote role, but they need someone who will work in PST time. This team is highly collaborative, despite being remote, and is looking for someone with at least 2+ years of professional experience who has excellent communication and a desire to learn and grow in their career.
